The Army Benevolent Fund Lord Mayor’s Curry Lunch 2014
For the last seven years the Army Benevolent Fund has had a very successful fundraising event at the Guildhall in London. Being the day after Her Majesty The Queen had held a State Banquet there, the Guildhall was looking particularly stunning.
As part of the fundraising for the ABF we at Michael Blyth Photography have, for the last three years, had the pleasure of donating a Michael Blyth Photography Portrait Session for the Auction of Promises. This year it was bought by a gentleman in Hertfordshire, and I shall be travelling later in the year to take portraits of him, his wife and children.
The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester were the guests of honour, along with The Lord Mayor of London and other dignitaries they were welcomed by a guard of honour from the Honourable Artillery Company, and pipers from the Gurkha’s.
