A delightful day touring Wiltshire in a Porsche 911 Targa - Simple photography tips - away day!
It was with great delight that I was able to accept an invitation to spend the day with my camera capturing some scenes from the Salisbury Hospital Stars Appeal Charity fundraising event - Boys Treasured Toys.
Not really a Simple Photography Tips sort of event, but I'll share some tips another time.
The day started at Wilton House where the cars were placed around the courtyard, before a breakfast and welcome from The Earl of Pembroke, President of the Appeal.

The cars were split into two groups according to choice of route distance, and departed forthwith.

I was blessed with a lift from Matt, whose surname I never got, but who was a charming host, and had a great time navigating badly while he piloted his Porche 911.

Luncheon was a picnic at the home of one of the supporters, with time to browse, both food and cars, along with an ice-cream kindly provided by our hosts.

Departing North Wiltshire the cars headed back beyond Wilton to the Chalke Valley, dodging the Chalke History Festival traffic, to finish the day at Gurston Hill Climb.

A wonderful day, which I sincerely hope raised a considearble sum for this wonderful charity.
