What I Hope '2027 A Year of Inspiration' Becomes

A thought came to me this morning, over my second coffee.

Perhaps there is a deeper reason for creating a diary filled with images that inspire.

Life gets very full.

Mine certainly does.

Emails, decisions, jobs, plans, things that need doing, things that feel urgent.

I realised I wanted this diary to be a small window beyond all that busyness.

A window you can open once a week. to find a new photograph. A new thought. A moment to stop, take a breath and savour the image.

Not because every week needs to contain some profound revelation, but because sometimes it is enough simply to look.

To enjoy the beauty of Creation.

To notice something you might otherwise have missed.

I've put the thoughts there in the hope that they sit quietly in the background of the week.

That is what I hope A Year of Inspiration 2027 becomes.

And there is something else I hope:-

The diary arrives.

You open the parcel.

You flick through the photographs.

You stop at a few.

You read ahead, even though perhaps you 'weren’t meant to'.

And then, as the year unfolds, you meet them again one week at a time.

For those who use an online calendar for almost everything, it doesn’t even have to replace it.

Keep the diary somewhere you naturally pause.

Use it to jot down three good things from the day.

Something you noticed.

Something that made you smile.

Something you don’t want to forget.

By the end of the year, it may have become more than a diary.

It may have become a quiet record of the life that happened around all the things you were busy doing.

Or perhaps it isn’t for you at all.

Perhaps someone has already come to mind.

Someone whose life is very full.

Someone who might enjoy receiving something that stays with them, week after week, rather than another Christmas present that is forgotten by January.
