This Friday Image with Words was taken at Cap de Formentor, Mallorca, where the evening light over rock and sea offered a quiet reminder not simply to be shaped by the world, but to bring something better into it.
.

This thought echoes Romans 12:2, which says, “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” It is not a call to withdraw from the world, but to move through it with a different spirit: steadier, kinder, clearer and less easily shaped by the noise around us. When I look back in history I'm constantly amazed by words spoken by very ordinary people, like me, and perhaps you, that have found their way into places of influence. And the greatest influence comes with kindness and humbleness.
Cap de Formentor, as the sun shared it's fading rays, is a place of great beauty at the northern end of the Serra de Tramuntana. A range of beautiful hills and valleys.
For me, a Friday image with words is a small pause at the end of the week, a moment to look, reflect, and perhaps bless others a little more deliberately.
If you are struggling with your way ahead, in work, or relationship, perhaps this will help in some small way.
Every Friday I post an image with words that I hope may help. If you'd like to see them regularly, please subscribe. That way you won't miss anything - after all we never know what image or words are going to land well.
