Three simple photography tips how to avoid lens flare
Change Your Position - A small shift left or right can block direct sunlight and instantly reduce lens flare, giving you more contrast and clarity.
Use What’s Already There - Trees, rocks, posts or even the landscape itself can act as natural shields to stop stray light washing out your image.
Watch the Light - If the light is hitting your lens directly, adjust your viewpoint until the scene reveals its best version.
Out for a few minutes walk before meeting Favourite Middle Daughter for a before work coffee from Roc and Floss at the market. I was able to capture a short video demonstrating how to use existing objects to avoid lens flare that occurs from bright light entering the lens at the wrong angle - this is usually sunlight, but can also be streetlights etc.
